JohnsByrne partnered with Caldera + Lab, a growing men’s skincare brand, on the packaging development for their refresh with a goal of improving the current aesthetics for retail expansion.

Our Approach

  • We initially collaborated with Calder + Lab to understand the goals of their brand refresh and enhancements under consideration
  • Our structural design team developed updated structures for evaluation
  • We conducted two press tests incorporating front and back printing, various enhancements, graphics and materials for evaluation

The Result

The final enhancement, graphic and material selections provide an upscale refresh for Caldera + Lab. The packaging that is consistent with the branding of the primary and the brand’s mission of creating high-performance skincare designed for men, backed by science, built for impact. The current line features 14 SKUs and is well positioned for growth.
